ABLE Youth holds in high regard the privacy rights of our website visitors
and believe each individual has the right to manage their own personal
information. To demonstrate our commitment to use privacy, we provide
the following information to describe the information we collect, and

The Information We Collect
On some pages of the ABLE Youth site (such as the contact form), visitors
are asked to list name, address, and other personal contact information.
Information collected is specifically and knowingly provided by site
visitors and may include name, email address, format preference (HTML
vs. text), address, telephone number, interests and other similar
information. Collecting this information helps ABLE Youth to better
provide site visitors with relevant and useful content.
ABLE Youth will not sell, share or exchange personal
contact information collected from this site. Visitors are not required
to share any personally identifiable information. Users who do not wish
to share personal information when visiting this site can still access the
full content of the pages and the information provided.
Opting Out
ABLE Youth provides site visitors with the opportunity to opt-out of
receiving our online and offline communications, such as newsletters and
calendar of events.
If you would like to opt-out of receiving email
communications, please update your user profile. Email unsubscribe
requests are processed immediately.
To discontinue the receipt of postal mail, please email
ABLE Youth at mailinglist@ableyouth.org.
Please note: there is a 4-6 week lapse period due to the fact
that a subsequent mailing may already be in production. If you do
receive another mailing, please disregard it.
Aggregate Information
Demographic and profile data (i.e., age, gender, browser usage) is also
collected for the purpose of analyzing site usage, improve content and
product offerings and to customize site content, layout, and services.
Invite-A-Friend
If you elect to use the referral service for informing a friend about the
ABLE Youth site, you will be asked for the friend's
e-mail address. ABLE Youth will automatically send the friend a one-time
e-mail inviting them to visit the site. ABLE Youth uses this information
for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The information
provided may be retained for statistical reasons, but will
never be shared with outside parties.
