2025 Independence Camp

Independence Camp this past weekend was incredible! We are so proud of these 10 kids who spent the weekend learning and practicing lots of different independence skills, from household chores to wheelchair mobility skills to baking cookies where everyone got to help. There was both nervousness as they practiced difficult skills and the thrill of accomplishment as they pushed through challenging moments to success. They encouraged each other throughout the weekend and had lots of fun with a campfire, games, a scavenger hunt, and wheelchair basketball. Through their hard work at Independence Camp, this group is one step closer to reaching their dreams in the future of being a successful, independent adult. Thank you to all of our volunteers this weekend!
